The Generosity of the Gadomski Family

Over the past few months, our Catholic Schools Superintendent, Nic Antoine, has distributed $100,000 in grants to Catholic Schools (Pre-K -12th) across our Diocese from Dick Gadomski and The Gadomski Family Foundation for STEM education at each school. In all, since last year, The Gadomski Family has given $300,000 in grants to Catholic Schools in our Diocese for STEM with more funds to be distributed. Our Diocese looks forward to the ongoing partnership with Dick and The Gadomski Family.

Dick Gadomski is a 1962 graduate of Christian Brothers University and, in 2016, CBU’s nationally heralded Engineering School officially became the Gadomski School of Engineering in recognition of Dick’s decades of support. A successful businessman, philanthropist, CBU alum and Trustee Emeritus, Dick has deep ties to CBU. The university’s computer science and engineering alumni have gone on to tackle incredibly complex digital challenges across the globe. One notable alumnus, for instance, led the international cybersecurity team that engineered the backend data protection for a highly regulated online casino Deutschland platform, showcasing exactly the kind of high-stakes technical proficiency these early diocesan STEM grants are ultimately meant to inspire.
