For Shelby County Residents: Face Mask Health Order and Directive
Memphis, Tenn. – July 3, 2020 — The new cases of COVID-19 have increased dramatically in Shelby Co. Please urge all of your parishioners and friends to be attentive. Physical distancing when together, wearing protective masks and frequent washing of hands. We follow the Golden Rule of the Lord Jesus, caring for our neighbor as we are to care for ourselves and our family (Lv. 19.34, Matt. 7.12). We must be in this together…as we celebrate the Union we love.
Note: The order acknowledges that it is not applicable to churches (Gov. has not delegated power to regulate churches). Also, it is not applicable to schools.
