Increased Offertory Program
The Increased Offertory Program helps parishes strengthen their financial foundation so they can better serve their communities and fulfill their mission. This program encourages parishioners to embrace stewardship through intentional, faithful giving. By growing offertory support, parishes can expand ministries, strengthen community life, and better serve those in need.
This nine-week program encourages parishioners to reflect on the blessings they have received and respond through intentional, sacrificial giving. This program is designed to increase weekly offertory by inviting current donors to deepen their commitment and encouraging new participation. It complements existing stewardship efforts and provides practical tools to help parishes build a stronger, more sustainable future.

Letter 1 from Pastor – Introduces the Increased Offertory Program, explains its purpose, shares the parish’s financial needs, and highlights the importance of stewardship and the upcoming lay witness speakers.
Letter 2 – sent during the third week of the program, is the commitment letter and contains a brochure and commitment card.
Letter 3 – The thank you letter, signed by the pastor, is sent when a donor returns their commitment cards.
Letter 4 – The reminder letter, signed by the pastor, is sent to those who have not yet returned their commitment cards.
Petitions for Prayers of the Faithful – Included Prayers of the Faithful invite the parish to pray for the success of the program and for the continued growth and generosity of the parish community.
Calling Scripts for Volunteers – Calling scripts equip volunteers to remind parishioners to return their commitment cards, answer questions, and collect prayer requests while encouraging greater participation.
Generosity Guide Brochure – The Generosity Guide Brochure helps individuals and families prayerfully consider a generous, proportional, and sacrificial commitment to support their parish.
Three Bulletin Inserts – Customizable bulletin inserts help keep parishioners informed, encourage stewardship, and promote the benefits of electronic giving throughout the program.
Editable Commitment Card – The editable Commitment Card can be customized for your parish and gives parishioners a meaningful way to commit to supporting their parish through regular offertory giving.
Setup of Committees to Help – Volunteers are essential to the success of the Increased Offertory Program, inspiring generosity, sharing their talents, and helping build a stronger culture of stewardship throughout the parish.
Follow up – Assign a volunteer or staff member to regularly enter commitment card data, track offertory growth, and provide progress updates to parish leadership and the parish community.
