Mission and Responsibilities

Tasked with securing and stewarding the financial resources necessary for the Diocese of Memphis to successfully carry out its evangelizing mission, ministry, education and outreach, the Office of Development directs, manages and oversees campaigns, appeals and other development initiatives as directed by the Bishop of Memphis.  The Office of Development also provides professional fundraising support to parishes, schools, institutions and organizations of the Diocese of Memphis.

To spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the people of West Tennessee by implementing the Development Plan that allows the ministries of the diocese to collaboratively advance their missions through a program of visioning, planning, public relations, and charitable giving.
