What is Stewardship?

Stewardship is understanding that everything we have is a gift from God. We are called to nurture these gifts and use them to give glory to God in gratitude for all He has given to us. 

Who is a Christian Steward?

A Christian Steward is a disciple, one who responds to Christ’s call, follows Jesus and shapes his or her life in imitation of Christ’s. The Christian steward or disciple has the responsibility to share Christ’s gifts, the gift of life, of vocation, of profession, of material blessings, and so on, in justice and love, not only with one another but with the whole Church, in fulfilling its mission to spread the Good News of Christ. The Christian steward or disciple has the responsibility to preserve, nurture, cultivate, develop and share each and every gift that he or she possesses.
